Tri-City Valley Cats

The Tri-City Valley Cats play at Joe Bruno Stadium in Troy. Check the link for the schedule and team information.

Adirondack Phantoms

The Adirondack Phantoms affiliates of the Philadelphia Fliers and play at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

Albany River Rats

The Albany River Rats play at the Times Union Center in Albany and feed the NHL's New Jersey Devils.  

Division I Basketball

Siena

The Saints play at the Times Union Center on Pearl Street in Downtown Albany. They compete in the MAAC. Reference the schedule on the web site to see a home game and hope the Saints meet their high expecations for the 2009-'10 season.

SUNY Albany

The Great Danes play at the SEFCU Arena at the university's main campus in between Washington and Western Avenues. The team competes in the America East Conference. 

Division I College Hockey

RPI Hockey (Unofficial Site)

The RPI Men's College Hockey team won the 1985 NCAA championship. The Red Hawks (formerly the Engineers) play at the Houston Field House in Troy.

Union College Hockey

Union College's men's program entered its divison one era in 1991 and along with RPI plays in the ECAC. The Achilles Center at Mesa Rink in Schenectady is the home venue for the Dutchmen.

Horse Racing

Saratoga Race Track

The Saratoga Race Track is managed by the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA). The 2010 season starts July 24th, four days earlier than normal.

The Schenectady Curling Club enjoys four sheets of ice and dedicated membership of 100 members.
