Tips for Finding Books & DVDs in Begley Library

FINDING BOOKS

Legal Fiction

• For a list of legal fiction, do a WORDS IN SUBJECT search in the online catalog for legal stories.
• To locate a specific book, search by TITLE or AUTHOR in the online catalog.

Criticism

• To find literary criticism, do a WORDS IN SUBJECT search in the online catalog for:
  • Law in literature
  • Lawyers in literature

• To find criticism on a specific author, select the ADVANCED SEARCH tab in the online catalog.  Choose AUTHOR from the drop-down menu, and enter the author of your choice.  Choose SUBJECT from the second drop-down menu, and enter either "history and criticism" or "criticism and interpretation."

• To find criticism on a specific title, select the ADVANCED SEARCH tab in the online catalog.  Choose TITLE from the drop-down menu, and enter the title of your choice.  Choose SUBJECT from the second drop-down menu, and enter either "history and criticism" or "criticism and interpretation."
